Company History
GrooMotion is  four years old!       We have a  custom grooming  van that contains everything needed to groom your pet.
It is a dream that has become a reality.
To see pictures of the van please go
to the GrooMotion van page.
I  have been in the grooming business for 8 1/2 years,  working  professionally as a groomer/bather  in the Utica, NY area.  I have attended seminars in Pennsylvania and   New   Jersey.     I  am  continuously studying and  looking  for   new   ways  to improve my skills.
Currently I am preparing to take tests to become a Certified Master Groomer through the National Dog Groomers Association of America.  I have completed one of the four written test and hope to finish the rest of the testing within the next year.
I would also like to introduce my husband and partner Brian.  He is our marketing and operations manager.  To contact Brian please e-mail him at brian@groomotion.com
 Frequently Asked Questions

What   are   the   costs   associated   with getting  my  pet  groomed?
Your  pet's   grooming  is  very  different   than  a  person   going   to  a  hairdresser  and  much  more  time  consuming.
With a full grooming, your pet gets a bath a blow dry,  nails  trimmed, ears  cleaned  and a haircut.  Pricing varies by breed, condition and options.  Other costs such as fuel and overhead are included.
How long will it take?
The  length  of  time  will vary depending on each pet.  Some  pets  will  take longer due  to  coat  condition  and  size.  We can usually  give  you  an  estimated length of time when you make your appointment.
Do you groom sedated dogs?
I will not groom any sedated or tranqualized dog.  Any dog that needs any form of sedation must be taken to your Vetranarian.
Can you come the same day I call?
Unfortunately  this  is  not  possible.  You need to call and set up an appointment in advance.
Can I watch?  Can I leave while you are here?
The answer to both of these questions is yes.    I  have  no  problem  with  anyone watching me groom their pet.   I am also fine with being left alone with your pets.
Do you groom cats?
I am sorry but at this time I do not groom cats.
Do you still come out in the winter months?
Yes.  There are times when the weather does not make it possible to travel with the van.  I will always call if it is not possible to make it to an appointment.
If  you  have any questions that have not been answered feel free to call or send us an e-mail.
